Cesar J. Caceres

At the age of 18 and following high school graduation from Dogwood Christian Academy in Tunnel Hill, Georgia, Cesar J. Caceres enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Cesar was trained as an Air Traffic Controller at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida. Over the course of a nearly 10-year honorable career, Cesar served at Iwakuni, Japan; Yuma, AZ; and in the combat theaters of Iraq and Afghanistan. In 2007 he was medically discharged from the Marines at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, AZ.

Following the completion of Cesar’s military career, he returned to his hometown of Dalton, GA, and began work as a forklift operator in the local carpet industry. During this same time, Cesar was inspired to enroll in college. He completed his undergraduate studies at Dalton State College, and transferred to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) where in 2011 he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Business and Marketing and a minor in International Business. While completing his Degree at UTC, Cesar was employed at Unum, working a series of positions to include Bilingual Customer Service, Bilingual Customer Retention, and Bilingual Corporate Liaison.

After earning his degree, Cesar moved to Knoxville, TN to work for United Cellular as a Bilingual Corporate Liaison.

In 2012, Cesar once again moved, this time to Florida to progress his career as the International Bilingual Account Manager for Quality Cable. Operating mainly in South America, Cesar managed all accounts in excess of $10 million in spend, overseeing the growth of this department by nearly 20%. He then took a position as the International Bilingual Account Manager on the team in charge of all accounts in excess of $10 million in spend for Alere Wellbeing, where he again oversaw the growth of their department in excess of 20%.

While in Florida, Cesar met his wife, Kristin, and in 2016 they were married. Today they have two children.

Also in 2016, due to the failing health of his parents, Cesar returned to Atlanta, GA in order to be close to his family. Cesar was employed at Live Source during this time as the Bilingual Implementation Manager and Corporate Account Manager, overseeing Supply Chain Management requirements for corporate accounts.

With the passing of his father in 2017 and mother in 2018, Cesar was inspired to become an entrepreneur, founding Lives Borne LLC in 2020 to honor their memory and legacy, for it is upon the shoulders and sacrifice of those who came before that our Lives are Borne.

Today, Cesar is the President of the independently veteran owned and operated Atlanta Metropolitan Area based Regional Headquarters for Nexterus, a 75-year-old Supply Chain Engineering and Technology Company headquartered in Pennsylvania.
